HZ was charged with bringing a new brand to life in a way that positioned California Tortilla as a market leader and fully captured the quirkiness that defines the fast-casual restaurant chain. As lead Art Director for three years on the account, I managed the in-house design team and art-directed all photoshoots, working with photographers and food stylists. We designed everything from in-store menu boards and window clings to monthly promotion posters and ad campaigns, resulting in helping to grow California Tortilla from 4 to 30 restaurants.
