LivingSocial Shop is a unique division of the company offering physical products and selling curated collections. Acting as the UX design lead for both Web and mobile platforms, we optimized every aspect of the core transactional UX from homepage and deal-detail page to checkout and redemption. Design decisions were informed by interviews, participatory design sessions, and iterative wireframes design cycles regularly tested with Shop stakeholders and users. Shop is key to LivingSocial’s success, delivering 77% of the company’s yearly operating profit.
